Cognex DataMan® ID readers can read 1D code symbologies such as UPC, PDF and postal codes, 2D code symbologies such as Data Matrix and QR, or a mix of barcode and 2D codes simultaneously.
The DataMan 150/260 readers are fully configurable to meet the demand of ID applications today. The DataMan 150 can be configured as a RS-232 or USB device, while the DataMan 260 is an Ethernet based reader. DataMan 8600V Series Verifiers deliver a portable and compliant handheld verifier with superior ease of use and cost effectiveness. This enables manufacturers to perform verification on the factory floor, rather than at a remote or fixed verification station.
The DataMan 8600V is both a calibrated AIM-DPM verifier and a handheld barcode reader in one device. The 8600V is available in corded USB, RS-232 or Ethernet versions, and comes with a snap on 8600 Stand-Off accessory that allows the verifier to maintain a fixed distance and controlled 30 degree angle lighting relative to the Data Matrix code.
Calibration of the 8600V simply involves imaging the supplied calibration card and utilizing the easy to use DataMan Setup Tool Software. Code Quality Metrics can be viewed within the DataMan SW and can also be sent out in a PDF report for storage.

VisionView 900 Operator Interface Panel
The VisionView 900 is a powerful, low-cost operator interface panel that provides password-protected user control to adjust vision tool parameters and regions of interest without requiring a PC on your factory floor. Nine-inch touch screen gives total control during run-time operation. The LAN port allows you to connect a PC for setup or use with an external switch to connect up to nine systems. Two USB ports facilitate your ability to save failed images for further analysis without interrupting your throughput.
Monitor and control the vision application with a licensed version of the VisionView software that can run on your PC.
The VisionView PC software has all of the VisionView features while providing the flexibility of using your own choice of PC and monitor.
Your vision application may also be monitored and controlled by the VisionView interface by connecting larger size VGA monitors via the VisionView VGA adapter.
VisionView VGA provides the flexibility by allowing “control room” viewing of images and results without being limited by the size of the display. The VisionView VGA adapter supports VGA displays of different resolutions, as well as touch screen displays.
