ioProject Controllers
NOTE: Although fully supported and still in production, this is a legacy product and not recommended for new designs. For new designs, see the standalone SNAP-PAC-S1 and the rack-mounted SNAP-PAC-R1 controllers. SNAP PAC controllers provide more power and additional network connections. SNAP PACs run PAC Control strategies; ioControl strategies can be simply upgraded to PAC Control.
On-the-Rack ioProject Controllers (Ultimate Brains)
The SNAP SNAP-UP1-D64, SNAP-UP1-ADS, and SNAP-UP1-M64 Ultimate ioProject controllers/brains are programmable I/O and communications processors. They can be used as a rack-mounted controller or as an I/O unit in a larger control system based on a more powerful Opto 22 controller, such as the SNAP-PAC-S1.
Used as a rack-mounted controller, the SNAP-UP1-D64, SNAP-UP1-ADS, and SNAP-UP1-M64 Ultimate ioProject controllers/brains are programmed using the legacy ioProject Basic software suite, which is included in the purchase price. The newer PAC Project software suite was designed for SNAP PAC controllers but also offers limited support for SNAP Ultimate I/O.

Standalone ioProject Controllers
The SNAP-LCE is a stand-alone, small-footprint, Ethernet industrial controller designed for use with SNAP Ethernet I/O units and the ioProject software suite. The SNAP-LCE provides real-time control and is used primarily in industrial control applications. It is programmed with the included ioControl.
NOTE: The SNAP-LCE controller is NOT compatible with FactoryFloor.
