Sola Voltage Regulation

Sola/Hevi-Duty's ferroresonant power conditioners protect equipment from all power problems other than a complete loss of power. Every ferroresonant power conditioner is manufactured to exacting specifications and subjected to rigorous quality control. Sola uses cruciform-type construction with precision die-cut shunts, gaps and spacings between windings. This design technique is superior to ferroresonant transformers utilizing E and I type laminations with loose shunts, gaps and variable spacings between windings. The cruciform-type construction provides more consistent electrical characteristics and quieter operation than other types of construction.

Sola CVS Hardwired Series - Constant Voltage Regulation Transformers
Superior voltage regulation of ±1% sets the CVS Series power conditioner apart from other power conditioning technologies on the market. Extremely tight regulation is accomplished by Sola/Hevi-Duty’s patented ferroresonant transformer
technology. The CVS Series power conditioner recreates a well regulated sinusoidal waveform that is well isolated from
input disturbances including impulses, swells, sags, brownouts and severe waveform distortion.

Sola SLR Series Power Conditioners - Line Reactors
Sola/Hevi-Duty's DIN Rail mounted power conditioner line reactors is an addition to a family of power quality products with a reputation for increasing industrial automation system performance.

The SLR Series power conditioner is a CE style, DIN Rail mounted line reactor that provides safe, compact protection for high frequency drives and electronic equipment. The SLR power conditioner inductive filter prevents damage to any three phase electronic system plagued by capacitor or large load switching. Other benefits include reduced harmonics and input line distortion.

For SCR drive protection, Sola/Hevi-Duty recommends our Drive Isolation Transformers (from 7.5 to 440 KVA) to completely isolate the negative effects of the SCR drive technology.

Sola SOLATRON™ Plus Series - Three Phase Power Conditioners
These three phase power conditioner units protect equipment from voltage sags and spikes, switching transients, lightning,
and induced surges by a carefully designed surge suppression circuit linked to a shielded isolation transformer and input and output filters.

These power conditioner units hold output voltage regulation to a maximum of ±5%, even with an input voltage window of +15% to -25%. Response time to any line variation is 1.5 cycles regardless of power factor. The power conditioner units operate with 150 dB Common Mode noise attenuation and 65 dB Normal Mode noise attenuation at 100 kHz.
